my welcome explodes into a logo
i thought for a minute
although nothing happened
suggesting I am functioning
within established parameters
i am finding the upstairs to be
quite incomprehensible
a yeti seems to have clogged up the detectable
yet sordid tea gardens
throughout the clearance sale
is this a solo effort or a squashed cabbage brigade?

commissioned turtles
filled with dozens of deviled eggs
wiggle their way out of bunk beds
all of this without an emptying nest
resigned minimalists
with disposable weather balloons
and boiled, fake pool stares
lecture at bay about pigeon contexts
and arcade garbles
how can a fork vanish without even a whistle?

the metric system is in my nose
measuring everything it can get its hands on
i sense a faraway drama instigated by
umbrella-shaped tea bags timetable brass
wide coins and arrogant sleeves
return with onion initiatives
and I am left wondering what to do
with dependent echos and ham
so, what do I do with all this iron?
